Responsibilities
Conduct sales of HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies over the phone, by email, and over the counter.
Identify parts and process customer quotes and orders promptly.
Make customers aware of product promotions.
Load and unload shipments of parts, supplies, and equipment when needed.
Respond to customer inquiries, questions, and concerns regarding products or services.
Record inventory discrepancies.
Follow up with customers.
Determine the best method to resolve customer issues.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers and business partners.
Work overtime or weekends as required.
Desired Qualifications
HVAC parts experience is preferred.
Experience in the HVAC, mechanical contracting, engineering, or construction industry is a plus.

The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Parts Counter Salesperson responsible for processing customer orders and responding to customer’s inquiries. Must have attention to detail, be customer service oriented and work well with others. This position needs a self-motivated team player who can be an active part of our team and seeks remedies to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities

Promptly identify parts and process quotes & orders for customers.
Actively makes customers aware of product promotions.
May load and unload shipment of parts, supplies, and equipment.

Exhibits strong organizational and customer service skills.

The Required Profile
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Computer skills are essential, HVAC Parts background is preferred
HVAC, Mechanical Contracting, Engineering or Construction industry experience a plus.

Environmental Requirements
Will be required to work in an office environment and possibly, occasionally in the field.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone, reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
