Getting to Know the Opportunity:

The Investment Data & Analytics Intern will provide portfolio analytics support and customized analytical & operational solutions to Portfolio Management, Asset Managers, Voya Clients, and other internal stakeholders. Please Note: This position has been designated as a hybrid-office/home role. Details of your in-office schedule will be finalized with your manager.

The Contributions You’ll Make:

• Help coordinate with all areas of front office across asset classes to develop analytical solutions using BlackRock Solutions’ Aladdin investment management platform, Power BI and WebFocus.

• Perform daily and monthly quality control functions to ensure integrity of data prior to data release to end users.

• Assist with set-up of portfolios and benchmarks on BlackRock Aladdin.

• Complete relevant projects assigned.

• Assist with project tracking by maintaining logs with key updates, tracking workstream deliverables to deadlines, and moving items forward with respective contributors.

• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics or accounting.

• Relevant coursework in finance.

• Desire to pursue a career within the investment industry, preferably in portfolio analytics or investment management.

• Interest in pursuing CFA Charter.

• Proficiency in Excel.

• Experience with SQL and VBA a strong plus.

• Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills as you will interact with many different parts of the Voya organization.

• Highly results-oriented with ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and maintain focus.

• Motivated self-starter with initiative to carry forward project-related workstreams.

• Oral and written communication skills including experience in effectively communicating with classmates and faculty.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
