  • Ability to model problems as systems, map dependencies, and reason about interfaces, contracts, and failure modes at scale.
  • Ability to define metrics before building, instrument platforms, and distinguish latency regressions from content gaps.
  • Strong technical foundation, including the ability to read API specifications and discuss REST design and webhook reliability with backend and platform teams.
  • Working knowledge of API authentication systems, including HMAC and OAuth, and the tradeoffs between authentication approaches in multi-tenant and agentic contexts.

  • Drive the Model Context Protocol roadmap and tool surface, including search, hold, book, modify, cancel, and disruption recovery.
  • Define the authentication model, including OAuth 2.1, per-agent scopes, and spend caps.
  • Own distribution across the MCP Registry, Claude Plugin Marketplace, and Zapier.
  • Define and evolve the travel.tech REST API roadmap.
  • Own the full developer lifecycle, including endpoint design, versioning strategy, webhook architecture, and the sandbox environment.
  • Work with engineering to ensure content quality, latency, and feature parity across providers such as Amadeus, TravelFusion, and Trainline.
  • Improve the developer experience through documentation, sandbox quality, software development kit quality, and onboarding flows.
  • Define and track platform-health metrics, including API latency, MCP tool invocation volume, and sandbox-to-production conversion rate.
  • Own the pricing model, API tier design, usage analytics, and conversion from the free tier to Growth and Enterprise tiers.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with travel-industry supplier stacks, including airlines through global distribution systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, and Travelport; New Distribution Capability; hotel aggregators such as Expedia Partner Solutions, Booking.com for Business, and Hotelbeds; European and United Kingdom rail; and car-rental aggregators.
  • Prior experience shipping or maintaining a Model Context Protocol server.
  • Experience in the travel industry or enterprise settings.
  • Knowledge of programming fundamentals.
  • Spanish or Italian language skills.
