- Experience with software development in real-time operating systems or bare-metal environments.
- Experience with microcontroller drivers and software.
- Experience with motion-control software.
- Experience with network communication.
- Experience with serial-link communication.
- Familiarity with ARTIC ARM processors, including ARM Cortex-A72 cores, and microcontrollers such as 80C196 and PowerPC.
- Proficiency in C, GCC, and Unix/Linux shell scripting.
- Experience with Solaris, Linux, and VxWorks operating systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across disciplines.
- Good documentation habits and version-control skills.
- Good command of English.
- Design, implement, and debug embedded software on real-time operating system or bare-metal platforms.
- Develop and maintain device drivers and low-level firmware for microcontrollers and peripherals.
- Implement and optimize motion-control algorithms for precision-control systems.
- Design and maintain network and serial-link communication protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Optimize software performance, reliability, and real-time responsiveness.
- Support software bring-up in Solaris, Linux, and VxWorks environments.
