POSITION SUMMARY

The Full Stack Microsoft Developer designs, builds, integrates, and supports secure, production-ready solutions across The Battery Network’s Microsoft application environment. The role supports business leaders, product owners, operations teams, and technical partners by connecting customer-facing applications with enterprise platforms including Dynamics 365 CRM, Business Central, Power Platform, and Azure services. The work is weighted toward backend and integration delivery while also requiring practical frontend development capability. Success is measured through reliable releases, maintainable code, secure integrations, responsive user experiences, and timely resolutions of production issues.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties and responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following: 

Design, develop, test, deploy, and support secure APIs, services, and integrations using C#, modern .NET, Azure API Management, App Services, Azure Functions, Durable Functions, and related Azure services so that business systems exchange data reliably. 

Build and maintain integrations among Dynamics 365 CRM, Business Central, Power Platform, Microsoft Graph, web applications, and external systems using reusable APIs, events, workflows, and service components. 

Implement secure authentication, authorization, secret management, logging, and cloud-hosting practices using OAuth 2.0, Microsoft Entra identity patterns, Azure Key Vault, telemetry, and Application Insights. 

Develop responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web experiences using React, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and component-based development practices. 

Translate business requirements, wireframes, and prototypes into pragmatic technical designs and working features that balance maintainability, performance, security, delivery speed, and long-term platform health. 

Monitor and troubleshoot production applications and integrations, complete root-cause analysis, resolve defects, and reduce recurring issues and technical debt. 

Use GitHub and/or Azure DevOps for source control, pull requests, code reviews, testing, CI/CD, work tracking, and documentation to improve release quality and team continuity. 

Collaborate with developers, architects, business analysts, product owners, PMO, QA, vendors, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve delivery blockers, document solutions, and continuously improve development practices. 

CORE QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrated ability to deliver full-stack web applications through professional work, substantial projects, technical training, military service, community experience, or another relevant path. 

Strong hands-on capability with C#, modern .NET, RESTful APIs, JSON, API security, and Azure-hosted application or integration services. 

Ability to design and troubleshoot integrations with enterprise business systems such as Dynamics 365 CRM, Business Central, Power Platform, or comparable CRM/ERP platforms. 

Ability to build API-connected user interfaces using React, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design practices. 

Ability to review, refactor, test, and document code so that solutions remain secure, understandable, and supportable. 

Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States for The Battery Network, with or without sponsorship. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with Azure services such as API Management, App Services, Functions, Durable Functions, Storage, Key Vault, Application Insights, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Azure SQL. 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field and 5+ years of relevant full-stack development, application integration, or Microsoft cloud platform experience; OR7+ years of equivalent experience preferred. 

Experience integrating Dynamics 365 CRM and Business Central through APIs, Dataverse, Power Automate, webhooks, events, or middleware patterns. 

Experience with Microsoft Graph, Microsoft 365 APIs, Power Platform, Power BI integrations, or Power Pages. 

Familiarity with Bootstrap, JSON Forms, Liquid templates, Blazor, Entity Framework, SignalR, or other Microsoft web technologies. 

Experience with accessibility, localization, responsive design, cross-browser testing, automated testing, observability, and production support.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position is remote based within the United States. Candidates must be able to work from a U.S.-based location and be eligible to work lawfully in the United States for The Battery Network.

Limited travel (estimated 3-4 times per year) as needed. Travel could include, but not be limited to, attending conferences, customer meetings, or team/organization-wide meetings.

Standard work hours are Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day. Some roles may require additional hours during peak periods. We prioritize the quality and timeliness of work over rigid schedules and recognize the importance of connection, collaboration, and work-life balance. ABTC revenue jumps 407% as battery recycling operations ramp up. American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) reported sharply higher revenue for fiscal 2026 as it increased throughput at its Nevada lithium-ion battery recycling facility and expanded production of recycled materials and byproducts. September 16, 2026 American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) reported sharply higher revenue for fiscal 2026 as it increased throughput at its Nevada lithium-ion battery recycling facility and expanded production of recycled materials and byproducts. The Reno-based company generated $21.7 million in revenue for the fiscal year ended June 30, up 407% from $4.3 million in fiscal 2025. ABTC attributed the increase to higher recycling volumes, increased byproduct production and improved pricing. Excluding depreciation and stock-based compensation, ABTC posted an adjusted gross profit of $1.7 million. That compares with an adjusted gross loss of $6.2 million the previous year. On a GAAP basis, the company recorded a $3.1 million gross loss, improving from a $10.6 million gross loss in fiscal 2025. The company's fourth-quarter results showed additional progress. Revenue reached $8.2 million, up from $2.8 million during the same quarter last year. ABTC recorded a GAAP gross profit of $1.3 million for the quarter, compared with a $2.6 million gross loss a year earlier. ABTC reported a full-year net loss of $73.4 million, compared with a $46.8 million loss in fiscal 2025. Operating cash use declined 16% to $24.2 million even as the company increased recycling throughput. The company ended the fiscal year with $49.5 million in cash, up from $7.5 million a year earlier, and no outstanding long-term debt. ABTC received $75.6 million from financing activities during the year. "These achievements demonstrate our continued success in increasing production volumes, improving operating economics, and scaling a critical domestic source of battery materials," said Ryan Melsert, CEO. Recycling operations continue to grow ABTC continues to ramp up operations at its first commercial-scale lithium-ion battery recycling facility, with a design capacity of about 20,000 metric tons per year. Melsert, a Waste360 40 Under 40 winner, said the company's feedstock comes from electric vehicles, consumer electronics, battery manufacturing and grid-scale battery energy storage systems. The latter category is growing as more battery systems are deployed to support data centers and other infrastructure. ABTC is also processing batteries from what it has described as the largest lithium-ion battery cleanup project in U.S. history. The work represents an estimated $30 million opportunity for the company. During the year, ABTC entered a partnership with The Battery Network, formerly Call2Recycle, to expand consumer battery collection and recycling. It is also advancing plans for a second commercial recycling facility in the Southeast with the capacity to process approximately 100,000 metric tons of battery materials annually. The project is supported by a $150 million U.S. Department of Energy grant. Black mass export restriction creates uncertainty ABTC is navigating a new federal restriction that could affect the sale of black mass produced at its recycling facility. During the company's earnings call, Melsert said a Department of Commerce directive that took effect Aug. 27 effectively prohibits domestic companies from exporting black mass unless they receive an exception or adjustment. ABTC has submitted an exception request and responded to follow-up questions from the department, but it had not received a final decision as of the earnings call. The company continues to sell other byproducts from its recycling operations. For now, however, it is storing its black mass while awaiting a resolution. ABTC is also working to develop domestic sales channels for the material, according to its annual filing. In this role, Greenberg will oversee customer relationships, develop market opportunities, and deliver solutions for battery safety, collection, and end-of-life management. Greenberg brings nearly two decades of experience in recycling, critical materials, and supply chains. He previously served as Vice President of Supply Chain at Solcoa Industries and National Account Manager at Cirba Solutions, working across battery recycling streams including electric vehicles and energy storage systems. A battery of concerns. What aggregate producers should know about lithium-ion battery fires. By Andrea Johnson If you work in aggregates, lithium-ion battery fires probably are not keeping you up at night. Your operations handle stone, sand and gravel, not the commingled loads of construction debris, household waste and consumer goods where batteries tend to hide. That distinction matters, and it is worth stating plainly: the aggregate industry has a far lower exposure to battery-related fire incidents than sectors like municipal solid waste, single-stream recycling or construction and demolition debris processing. That said, "lower exposure" is not the same as "no exposure." As someone who spends a lot of time inside recycling and processing facilities across the country, I have watched this issue evolve from an occasional oddity to one of the more urgent safety conversations in its industry. Hidden danger. Lithium-ion batteries are showing up in places nobody expects: buried in mixed loads, tucked into discarded power tools, sitting inside e-bikes or vapes that end up in a dumpster. When a damaged or crushed battery cell is punctured or compressed, it can enter thermal runaway, a chain reaction that produces intense heat, off-gassing, and fire that traditional suppression methods often struggle to contain. Aggregate operations that also handle any recycled content, receive mixed materials from job sites, or share yard space with C&D processors are not entirely insulated from that risk. At the Construction & Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA), Rock Products has made battery safety a priority, not because its members are the primary source of these fires, but because its sector sits downstream of where these batteries enter the waste stream in the first place. Every one of Rock Products, whether Rock Products run a quarry, a C&D facility, or a household, generates and disposes of batteries. That shared responsibility is why this is a citizen issue as much as an industry one. To that end, CDRA has partnered with the National Waste and Recycling Association (NWRA), Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA), and the Recycled Materials Association (REMA) to bring national attention to this issue. This includes aligning the message so the public can not only grasp the seriousness of this problem, but to also communicate where batteries can be taken for safe disposal and when possible, recycling. The Battery Network is providing one of the most successful efforts for battery diversion with more than 20,000 battery drop-off locations, including partnerships with Home Depot and Lowes. Its combined efforts aim to educate the public, improve collection infrastructure, and push for better labeling and handling standards before batteries ever reach a truck or a tipping floor. Legislatively speaking. On the legislative side, CDRA has been active in supporting state-level battery recycling legislation, including a recent letter of support sent to Pennsylvania senators backing extended producer responsibility measures for batteries. In addition, CDRA President John Thomas personally is advocating in Washington for this bill to pass. EPR policy shifts more of the cost and logistics of safe battery disposal back on to manufacturers, which could ease the burden currently carried by processors and haulers who are left managing the risk after the fact. There are 17 states with battery EPR legislation, where producers are required to offer or fund battery recycling and 18 with state battery recycling requirements in effect. Train your team to recognize what a lithium-ion battery or battery-powered device looks like, even in small or damaged form. Establish a clear protocol for isolating a suspected battery rather than compacting or transporting it. And if your operation accepts any mixed materials, even occasionally, treat battery awareness as a standing part of your safety briefing, not a one-time training. None of this suggests your yards are at meaningful risk today. But fire does not respect industry lines, and a battery fire that starts in a shared load or a nearby facility can still disrupt operations, threaten equipment, and put people in danger. Staying informed and staying connected to the broader recycling community working on this issue, is a reasonable investment for an industry that otherwise has very little reason to think about batteries at all.
