Requirements
- Experience with server-side Java programming.
- Experience with Tomcat, the Spring framework, and other Java development environments.
- Experience implementing microservices and REST and JSON APIs.
- Experience installing, configuring, deploying, and using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar products.
- Experience with NoSQL products such as Cassandra.
- Experience with Lucene, Solr, or similar products.
- Experience with Docker or similar products.
- Experience integrating third-party tools.
- Experience with JSON, XML, data movement, and data manipulation.
- Experience authoring and editing API specifications and schemas.
- Experience with configuration management.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery.
Responsibilities
- Implement high-performance, resilient APIs.
- Implement microservices and hierarchical web services.
- Develop distributed and parallel tools and services for public cloud, private cloud, and laptop environments.
- Ingest, process, and deliver large quantities of disparate data types, including JSON metadata files, video files, hyperspectral imagery, satellite data, aerial data, and unmanned aircraft data.
- Process high-volume, high-bitrate content streams and micro-record streams from sources such as drone videos, aerial imagery, wellheads, and residential sensors.
- Grow with the company and expand the role while fulfilling existing needs.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the Java Native Interface.
- Experience with video, maps, and geographic information systems.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services APIs and Amazon Simple Storage Service APIs.
- Experience using APIs and automating with APIs.
- Experience with OpenStack tools.
- Experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and Angular.
