CDL Class B Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate
About the job
- At least one year of CDL Class B delivery-driving experience or two years of CDL Class A driving experience is required.
- Must be able to continually lift 50–100 pounds throughout the day; some lifting over 100 pounds is required.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must hold a CDL Class B with an air brake endorsement; a CDL Class A or Class B license with an air brake endorsement is acceptable.
- Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
- Must hold a current DOT medical card.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have heavy-lifting experience.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen.
- Safely deliver products to job sites and physically unload material according to the customer’s request.
- Receive materials in the warehouse, load trucks, and process inventory.
- Load trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries in compliance with DOT regulations for securing loads and distributing weight limits.
- Unload shingles at one- and two-story homes.
- Provide customer service to customers.
- Double-check all loads for accuracy and ensure they are thoroughly secured for delivery.
- Provide warehouse support, including shipping and receiving.
- Move materials and items from receiving to their designated areas.
- Pull orders for walk-in customers.
- Flatbed and Moffett experience is desired; operating experience with both is strongly preferred.
