Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Office experience, including clerical and computer skills in a Windows environment, is required.
  • Ability to communicate and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students, and community members is required.
  • Ability to interact with various age groups as a teacher assistant to maintain classroom order and efficiency is required.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
  • Ability to set priorities, organize, and coordinate work efficiently is required.
  • Ability to pass and maintain a background check and drug test is required.
  • Ability to remain insurable for driving duties is required.
Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain the language wing in Newkirk, Oklahoma.
  • Assist language teachers and the director in all classes.
  • Drive students to and from class.
  • Prepare classrooms for classes.
  • Manage snacks and meals for all classes, including shopping, cooking, preparing eating spaces, and cleanup.
  • Perform necessary office and computer work.
  • Perform other reasonable duties assigned by immediate or controlling supervisors.
