Helio Genomics partners with Syneos Health to accelerate adoption of AI-powered liver cancer blood test

Helio Genomics has partnered with Syneos Health to accelerate nationwide adoption of HelioLiver, an AI-powered blood test for early liver cancer detection. Syneos Health will deploy field engagement and educational initiatives to reach hepatologists and gastroenterologists managing high-risk populations across the United States. HelioLiver combines cell-free DNA methylation patterns, protein biomarkers and patient demographics using proprietary AI algorithms. In the CLiMB trial involving nearly 1,968 patients across 50 clinical sites, the test demonstrated four times greater sensitivity for Stage I liver cancer compared to ultrasound. The test is reimbursed by Medicare at $662. The partnership builds on Helio Genomics' recent collaboration with Quest Diagnostics, providing access to over 7,700 patient service centres nationwide. Liver cancer incidence rates have tripled in the US since 1980.
