Little Spoon Organic Whole Milk Infant Formula.

Little Spoon Organic Whole Milk Infant Formula. Little Spoon launches Organic Whole Milk Infant Formula. Mar 17, 2026 Little Spoon has long been the kind of kids' food brand parents feel good about bringing into their homes - ingredient-conscious, transparent, and designed with real family life in mind. (And, ahem, Mother Llc. has been known to chow down on those Fruit Rippers and Veggie Loops ourselves!) For the past eight years, the brand has been on a mission to make parents' lives easier and kids healthier, with a focus on safety and nutrition from first bites through the big kid years. Now, the brand is stepping into an entirely new (and deeply personal) category with the launch of its first-ever Organic Whole Milk Infant Formula. For Little Spoon, they say this isn't a pivot - it's a natural expansion of the mission they've stood by since day one: parents shouldn't have to choose between ease and quality. Most families end up using formula at some point, even if they didn't plan to, and Little Spoon believes that choice should come with clarity and confidence - not confusion or compromise. Little Spoon Organic Whole Milk Infant Formula is checking the box on a bevy of certifications and standards - including USDA Organic and EU Organic certifications, Clean Label Project Certified with the Purity Award, the First 1,000 Day Promise, Certified Pesticide Free, Non-GMO, and Kosher Dairy Certified. Plus, strict guidelines for microbiological and heavy metal testing. At the heart of the formula - which is manufactured in the U.S. - is organic, grass-fed whole milk sourced from New Zealand, chosen for its quality and integrity. Little Spoon says this is key, as New Zealand is recognized for its high standards in dairy farming, with cows that graze freely on pasture with rigorous organic regulations that prohibit synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. Using whole milk, they say, also means naturally occurring MFGM components and fewer added oils - an intentional choice to support both nutrition and digestibility. Nutritionally, Little Spoon says the formula is modeled after breast milk and is designed to be gentle on little tummies while providing complete nutrition for a baby's first year of life. With this launch, Little Spoon is entering one of the most scrutinized categories in parenting - and with it, they say formula safety is non-negotiable - explaining that every batch is tested for purity and nutrition against the brand's own stringent benchmarks, and no product is sold unless it passes testing for more than 500 toxins and contaminants. Each batch - which is backed by a manufacturing partner with 25+ years of infant formula expertise - also undergoes more than 2,000 documented quality and safety checks - from ingredient sourcing to final seal. Little Spoon says it's the first U.S. infant formula company to publish its heavy metal testing limits and results directly on its website - offering parents visibility into standards for arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury that in some cases go beyond existing guidance. Every batch is also voluntarily tested for Sulfite-Reducing Clostridia (SRC), an indicator of spore-forming bacteria, at limits the brand says are 10x stricter than international guidance. Plus, the formula contains no palm oil, no corn syrup, no soy, no gluten, and no unnecessary additives. Little Spoon fans - are you excited to give this formula a go? Check it out on the Little Spoon site for more information.

Little Spoon Expands Groundbreaking Testing Standards Beyond Baby To Raise The Bar In Toddler + Big Kid

The nation's largest online kids food company builds on its industry-leading transparency initiative to empower parents with options that are equally safe and convenientNEW YORK, April 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Little Spoon , the largest online baby and kids food company in the United States, has expanded its industry-leading testing standards across its Biteables, Baby Puffs, Smoothies and YoGos product lines, further solidifying its commitment to ingredient integrity and safety. As a component of this initiative, the company has also lowered its internal EU-aligned threshold for lead and mercury to even stricter standards, reinforcing its position at the forefront of food safety for children. With growing national concern over baby food safety, Little Spoon is setting a new industry precedent by going beyond transparency to drive real, actionable change."Little Spoon is breaking new ground in the U.S. baby food market," said Joe Dickson, Former Global Director of Quality Standards at Whole Foods Market and leading expert in organic agriculture. "Their commitment to clear, public standards is unparalleled, marking a significant shift toward ensuring the highest levels of quality and safety for our children, who need it most."This expansion comes just six months after Little Spoon introduced its groundbreaking transparency initiative , making it not only the first baby food company to publicly commit to setting strict limits for 500+ toxins and contaminants—but also the only brand in the category to voluntarily test and commit to never selling any product that fails to meet these rigorous standards. The company's unwavering commitment to stricter safety measures arrives at a time when parents are demanding greater accountability from food brands."Little Spoon was the first baby + kids food company to establish public safety standards and voluntary testing limits," said Ben Lewis, CEO of Little Spoon
