Requirements
  • A high school diploma or Canadian Adult Education Credential equivalency is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English are required.
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations and probe for information while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and ability to learn internal account management software.
  • Candidates must reside in or around Edmonton, Alberta, and be able to attend in-person training at the Edmonton office.
  • Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule during the stated hours of operation, including Monday through Saturday.
Responsibilities
  • Proactively contact customers with past-due accounts to identify reasons for delinquency and provide tailored solutions to resolve outstanding balances.
  • Use professional negotiation and probing techniques to secure payment commitments, establish firm payment arrangements, and offer financial tools or programs that support account rehabilitation.
  • Review account history to understand customers’ financial situations and determine the most effective course of action to mitigate loss.
  • Follow Ford Credit policies and guidelines for the work area to ensure consistency and quality in service delivery.
  • Represent Ford Credit professionally when resolving sensitive financial situations with empathy and firmness.
  • Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced environment, adjusting quickly to changing priorities and account cues.
  • Participate in team meetings, share insights, and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Give and receive constructive feedback with peers and supervisors to support continuous improvement.
  • Adapt to new tasks and changes that support company goals and improve service quality.
  • Use company email and internet access in accordance with established company policies.
  • Evaluate applications for creditworthiness and negotiate credit terms directly with dealers by phone.
