About the company

Artie provides a subscription-based data streaming platform for enterprises, moving data in real time between databases and data warehouses using Change Data Capture and stream processing to achieve sub-minute latency and reduce data warehouse costs. The system captures changes from source databases and streams them to target stores in real time, enabling accurate data replication and real-time observability while prioritizing security and compliance. Its differentiators are sub-minute latency at enterprise scale, real-time observability, and strong security, all delivered through a reliable subscription model. The goal is to offer a trustworthy, low-latency data streaming solution that lowers warehouse costs and gives teams production-grade data for analytics.

What believers are saying

  • Artie raised $12M in January 2026 from Standard Capital and YC.
  • The company is expanding beyond warehouses into event APIs, Elasticsearch, and vector databases.
  • Demand for real-time AI systems favors Artie's zero-maintenance streaming pitch in 2026.

What critics are saying

  • Fivetran, Airbyte, and Striim attack Artie's same CDC market with broader ecosystems.
  • Artie's homepage proves only three marquee customers, creating concentration risk if one churns.
  • If self-serve growth stalls after the 2026 Series A, Artie stays niche and outspent.

What makes Artie Technologies unique

  • Artie streams Postgres to Snowflake in 10-20 seconds, not hourly batches.
  • ClickUp, Substack, and Alloy trust Artie for 700 billion annual rows.
  • Artie is SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA compliant, fitting regulated enterprise pipelines.

Artie Raises $12M in Series A Funding

Artie raises $12M in Series A funding. Artie, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a managed real-time data streaming platform, raised $12M in Series A funding. The round was led by Dalton Caldwell at Standard Capital, with participation from Y Combinator, Pathlight Ventures, and angel investors including Arash Ferdowsi (Dropbox co-founder & former CTO), Benn Stancil (Mode CTO), Chris Best (Substack CEO), Charles Hearn (Alloy CTO), and Lenny Rachitsky (Lenny's Podcast). The company intends to use the funds to support continued investment across product, go-to-market, and team growth. Led by CEO Jacqueline Cheong, Artie is a provider of a real-time streaming platform that moves production data across systems in real-time, with zero maintenance, empowering mission-critical use cases including fraud and risk monitoring, inventory visibility, customer-facing analytics, and AI workloads. For example, streaming changes from Postgres directly into Snowflake so teams can rely on data without building or maintaining streaming infrastructure. It is used by companies like ClickUp, Substack, and Alloy.
