Allegion raises 2026 guidance to 9.5%-10.5% revenue growth after $1.17B third-quarter sales

Allegion raised its full-year 2026 guidance after reporting third-quarter sales of $1,172.6 million and net income of $220.9 million. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations were $2.60. The security products maker now expects reported revenue growth of 9.5% to 10.5% and earnings per share of $8.35 to $8.40. Strong organic performance in its Americas non-residential security business drove the results. International remains the weak spot, where organic softness and margin pressure have not fully eased. Analysts assume 5.4% yearly revenue growth, reaching $5.1 billion by 2029.

Allegion falls 10.7% over 52 weeks, underperforms Nasdaq's 20.9% gain

Dublin-based Allegion plc, a global security products company specialising in door and access systems, has underperformed the Nasdaq Composite over the past year. The company's shares declined 10.7% over 52 weeks, whilst the Nasdaq gained 20.9% during the same period. Allegion, which manufactures mechanical and electronic locks and access control systems under brands including Schlage and Von Duprin, has a market capitalisation of approximately $13.1 billion. The stock has fallen 3% year-to-date, compared to the Nasdaq's 16.5% gain. The underperformance stems from modest organic growth, averaging 3.9% year-over-year over two years, and an earlier ERP disruption that affected production rates. However, shares gained 12.8% over the past three months.
