  • Ability to collaborate across consulting, technology, operations, delivery, legal, finance, and leadership teams.
  • Strong analytical, strategic-thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, executive influencing, executive relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities
  • Understand the client's business strategy, Global Capability Center roadmap, priorities, and transformation agenda.
  • Develop strategic account plans aligned to client business objectives and growth opportunities.
  • Identify white-space opportunities and drive business expansion across existing Global Capability Center accounts.
  • Position end-to-end capabilities across Strategy, Consulting, Technology, Operations, Industry X, Data and AI, Cloud, SAP, Security, and Song.
  • Partner with delivery teams to ensure successful execution and measurable business outcomes.
  • Establish trusted-advisor relationships with Global Capability Center leaders, Global Business Leaders, and C-suite executives.
  • Build executive relationships across business, technology, operations, procurement, and Global Capability Center leadership.
  • Lead executive governance meetings, business reviews, innovation workshops, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Represent Accenture in client leadership forums, Global Capability Center events, executive briefings, and industry interactions.
  • Own the overall account growth strategy and revenue plan for assigned Global Capability Center accounts.
  • Drive account mining, white-space identification, cross-selling, up-selling, and service-line expansion.
  • Partner with Sales Capture teams to shape and close strategic transformation opportunities.
  • Drive pipeline growth, revenue, profitability, forecasting, and commercial governance.
  • Lead account financial management and key commercial processes, including MMS/MMP, MME, and MMB.
  • Develop long-term account growth roadmaps to maximize wallet share and client satisfaction.
  • Work closely with delivery leadership to ensure successful program execution.
  • Monitor delivery performance, client satisfaction, commercial health, and operational governance.
  • Proactively identify business risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Ensure delivery excellence while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and additional growth.
  • Partner with Client Groups, Market Units, Industry teams, Technology practices, and Global Sales teams to maximize Global Capability Center opportunities.
  • Work closely with Sales Capture Leads, Solution Architects, Delivery Leaders, Finance, Legal, and Commercial teams.
  • Share market intelligence, Global Capability Center trends, competitive insights, and client investment priorities to shape account strategy.
  • Mentor junior account managers and contribute to capability development within the Global Capability Center organization.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience leading large Global Capability Center transformation programs.
  • Experience working with Tier-1 consulting or systems integration firms.
  • Experience managing strategic global accounts with profit-and-loss ownership.
  • Experience collaborating across multiple service lines and global teams.
  • An MBA or PGDM from a premier institute is preferred.

Microsoft tops Accenture as AI infrastructure scales faster than consulting services

The professional services firm serves approximately 9,000 clients globally with 814,000 employees. Microsoft generated revenue of nearly $331.8 billion in FY 2026, a 17.8% increase, with net income of approximately $133.7 billion. The company's net margin reached close to 40.3%. Both companies maintained a debt-to-equity ratio of approximately 0.3x. Microsoft's free cash flow reached nearly $67.0 billion, whilst Accenture's was roughly $11.6 billion. Accenture recently addressed a $25 million settlement with the Department of Justice regarding federal contracting practices. Microsoft faces securities fraud class action lawsuits involving AI and Copilot claims, alongside antitrust scrutiny and an IRS tax audit.

Accenture surges 17% on Q4 beat with $18.7B revenue, but analyst warns stock fully priced at 15x forward earnings

Accenture soars 20% on upbeat fiscal 2027 forecast, lifting IBM and Cognizant

Accenture partners with AWS to deliver cloud and AI tools for mid-sized companies

Accenture has announced a new collaboration with Amazon Web Services to deliver cloud and AI offerings specifically for mid-sized companies generating between $300 million and $3 billion in annual revenue. The technology bundle, available through AWS Marketplace, includes tools for virtual machine migration, cloud spending optimisation, security strengthening, and AI system risk testing. Accenture and Google Cloud have launched Horizon, an open-source software development platform for Android Automotive Operating System, with Volvo Cars as the lead industry partner.
