Requirements
  • Five to seven years’ experience in Commercial Roofing, Service department required.
  • Strong, positive management, delegation, planning and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong, positive relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and drive to grow the business.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam/AutoCAD.
Responsibilities
  • Build strong and long-lasting relationships with customers and potential customers and help grow the Roofing Service business.
  • Manage and lead the Service Team within the branch.
  • Communicate with existing customers and explain Flynn Service opportunities.
  • Regularly follow up on quotes.
  • Schedule, align, and manage time of field crews.
  • Dispatch calls to field technicians and provide all necessary job information.
  • Ensure Service inventory is appropriate.
  • Monitor quality, safety, and training requirements through regular job site visits.
  • Attend association, industry, and networking events.
  • Plan and attend client meetings based on client interests.
  • Promote Flynn’s brand and services via marketing and social media channels.
  • Perform all other duties as the role requires.
  • Understand and prepare takeoffs and estimates.
  • Ability to conduct presentations virtually.
  • Support corporate initiatives and business development objectives.
