Requirements
  • Knowledge of correct oiling, greasing, and filter changes on equipment according to manufacturers’ specifications.
  • A commercial driver’s license is required.
  • The role requires working outdoors in changing weather conditions.
  • The role requires heavy physical activity involving strenuous work of a primarily productive or technical nature.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items, work with fingers, and perceive attributes of objects and materials.
Responsibilities
  • Drive a truck carrying various fuels, oils, greases, and filters.
  • Oil and grease equipment and change filters according to manufacturers’ specifications.
  • Use compressed-air grease guns, wrenches, and other tools.
  • Make adjustments to clutches, brakes, and other mechanical items as needed.
  • Keep service records for preventive maintenance.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures, and report unsafe activities to a supervisor or Human Resources.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Provide leadership to others through example and by sharing knowledge and skills.
