Requirements
  • Familiar with GHS (Globally Harmonized System) as well as OSHA Hazard Communication regulations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Safety/Environmental, Chemistry, Biology or equivalent experience.
  • Interact with colleagues within TOX, ECOTOX and DG.
  • Organized.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A highly reliable, team player.
  • Possesses excellent EXCEL skills.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation.
Responsibilities
  • Classifies, authors, & distributes SDS (Safety Data Sheets).
  • Obtains and maintains regulatory and compositional information from raw material suppliers, contract blenders and the business.
  • Responsible for System (GHS) classification and labeling information on materials.
  • Enters and maintains hazard assessment and regulatory data into product compliance support and SDS authoring systems.
  • Assists with reviewing and updating vendor MSDS/ SDS and hazard chemical lists. Ensure updated or obsolete MSDS/ SDS are filed properly.
  • Assists with customer requests for MSDS/ SDS.
  • Assists with performing process checks to ensure MSDS/ SDS are being filed properly and on-time.
