Requirements
  • Minimum education: College Diploma - Technician (architectural, structural, electrical, or mechanical).
  • Demonstrated ability to work with CAD drawings and integrate it with other facility management software.
  • Demonstrated software or programming skills in AutoCAD 2016.
  • Knowledge of Revit &/or Microstation preferred.
  • Software proficiencies related to the assignment – MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, etc. with ability to quickly learn new applications.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, especially communication (verbal / written).
  • Strong planning and organizing skills.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive and self-driven.
  • Good people and client management skills.
  • Strong organizational, documentation and training skills.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the execution and updates of day to day client requests and deliverables that reflect additions and changes of onsite conditions; ensure accuracy of input by undertaking verification activities with other personnel, clients or by field visit; support project management, space management, move management, asset tracking, maintenance management as required by contract deliverables.
  • Facilitate and execute the development and transition of Drawing & Occupancy services into new accounts; includes such activities as drawing file manipulation, space poly-lining and identification to established standards and plans.
  • Ensure development and completion of drawings as per Drawing & Occupancy policies and procedures to gain consistency, repeatability and alignment with BGIS Global Integrated Solutions/Client needs; sustain filing and drawing management protocols; maintain standards, guidelines, policies and procedures within Drawing & Occupancy and clients group(s); provide quality assurance activities as needed.
  • Directly oversees Drawing and Occupancy team and others responsible for delivering drawing and occupancy services and projects ensuring that delivery is undertaken optimally and within BGIS Global Integrated Solutions / Client procedural boundaries.
  • Provide direct support to the team with respect to service delivery, technical issues and administrative issues and challenges; monitor and support the preparation and execution of plans, schedules, maintain and track budgets of all projects; strive for 100% team member satisfaction through effective administration and provision of tools and support.
  • Ensure internal escalation of issues or potential risks are raised to the Manager where required.
  • Assigns, prioritizes and monitors work progress and completion to ensure adherence to timeliness, quality standards and all other related requirements.

  • Execute work required to meet project commitments related to time constraints on deliverables and quality expectations (KPI's)
  • Seek continuous improvement opportunities that improve efficiency, benefit clients and other team members; keep abreast of technology changes and training requirements related to the role.
  • Provide reports and analysis using various Drawing & Occupancy modules and reporting tools to support contract deliverables, any potential errors are brought to Manager’s attention and proposal of potential solutions provided.
  • Develop internal relationships and ensure appropriate communications/support is maintained; provide ongoing training and support for other team members, clients and global initiatives.
  • Demonstrate effective and proactive communication and continuous improvement activities with internal/external concerned parties to ensure client satisfaction and BGIS Global Integrated Solutions success.
  • Communicate and facilitate the resolution of escalated issues and challenges that include internal/external concerned parties.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • PMP, MCR, BOMA certifications would be considered an asset.
  • Revit &/or Microstation experience preferred.
  • Experience with drawing management systems and occupancy data analytics would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of facility management software integration with CAD tools is preferred.
