Requirements
  • Experience: 15+ years of progressive experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or a related leadership role, including 5+ years dedicated to direct people management of high-performing business development, sales, or account management teams.
  • Significant exposure to ecosystem development and strategic product collaborations within financial services or fintech marketplaces to deliver exceptional value for both partners and consumers.
  • Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of the banking, payments, credit/lending, and digital acquisition marketplaces.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and how it impacts fintech-bank relationships and the broader digital asset landscape.
  • Familiarity with card interchange mechanics and payments value chain, as well as fundamentals of digital acquisition through marketplaces.

Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Ecosystem Development: Define and own the ecosystem and product partnership strategy in collaboration with the Executive Team and Chief Product Officer. Identify, evaluate, and lead new strategic initiatives to expand DailyPay’s product advantage .Identify gaps and innovation opportunities in the Fintech sector and work closely with product teams to drive new capabilities and enhancements tailored to consumer needs.
  • Partnerships & Commercial Execution: Lead all sourcing, negotiation, and structuring of complex, high-value agreements and long-term relationships with financial institutions, fintechs, payment processors, digital marketplace partners, and other strategic partners. Drive commercial success, Go-To-Market execution, and revenue growth by establishing distribution, referral, and co-sell motions. Manage relationships with partner executives, ensuring accountability for measurable outcomes including adoption, distribution, and revenue growth.
  • Product & Integration Leadership: Shape joint product strategies with partners to unlock new capabilities and differentiated offerings, ensuring solutions address industry pain points. Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering leadership to secure integrations, influence product roadmaps, and oversee the predictable delivery and prioritization of all ecosystem integrations that strengthen the core product and create differentiated offerings.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment & Operations: Serve as a strategic leader for cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Compliance, Sales, Marketing) to align partner needs with internal priorities. Create the systems, playbooks, and internal operating rhythm for tracking, reporting, and scaling partnerships to provide executive visibility and drive continuous operational improvements.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent the company across the ecosystem, including at industry events and with senior leadership teams. Stay ahead of regulatory and compliance trends (e.g., Open Finance) to advise both internal and external stakeholders.

DailyPay provides earned wage access, letting employees access money they've already earned on a daily basis instead of waiting for a scheduled payday. Employers partner with DailyPay; via payroll integrations, employees request immediate payment of earned wages, which DailyPay funds and the employer pays a service fee. The platform uses payroll and time data to determine earned but unpaid wages and delivers the funds through a digital interface. Its goal is to improve employee financial wellness and retention by making payroll more flexible, with particular applicability to healthcare, retail, and restaurant sectors.

DailyPay expands secured credit facility to $960M, surpasses $1B in total debt financing

DailyPay, a leading on-demand pay platform, has closed a $200 million upsizing of its secured credit facility, bringing total committed capacity to $960 million. The expansion includes existing lending partners Barclays, Citi and TPG Credit, alongside new participants TD Bank Group and Royal Bank of Canada. The upsizing pushes DailyPay's total debt financing backed by on-demand pay receivables past $1 billion, including a securitisation completed in June 2025. The facility will finance additional on-demand pay transfers as the platform continues growing. DailyPay's platform allows employees to access earned wages before payday whilst helping employers improve workforce engagement and retention. Chief financial officer Deepa Subramanian said the expansion reflects strong confidence in the company's employer-partnered business model.
