A current Registered Nurse license in North Carolina is required.
Basic Life Support certification is required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification is required within six months.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification is required within six months.
Compliance with hospital policies, including vaccination requirements, is required; approved exemptions are considered.
Successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening after an offer is required.
Responsibilities
Provide hospital-wide leadership and oversight during assigned shifts.
Coordinate staffing and patient care activities across all departments.
Serve as a mentor, resource, and support for nursing and clinical staff.
Facilitate patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Respond to and manage urgent and emergent situations.
Collaborate with physicians, department leaders, and administration to ensure continuity of care.
Promote adherence to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and patient safety initiatives.
Support conflict resolution and real-time problem-solving.

Position Overview
The RN House Supervisor serves as the administrative and clinical leader of the hospital during assigned shifts. This role is responsible for overseeing hospital operations, supporting clinical staff, ensuring quality patient care, and responding to emergent situations. The House Supervisor acts as a key resource for staff, physicians, and leadership while promoting a safe and efficient care environment.

Minimum Qualifications
Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Certifications:

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of clinical nursing experience preferred
