- Candidates must have experience coaching youth soccer; candidates without prior experience will not be considered.
- Candidates must possess a minimum of a grassroots coaching license.
- Candidates must own reliable transportation and be willing to travel up to 45 minutes one-way to class locations.
- Candidates must be available on weekday afternoons from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and have at least one day of weekend availability.
- Candidates should be punctual, willing to learn, and receptive to feedback.
- Candidates must be motivated, energetic, patient, attentive, hands-on, dynamic, and outgoing.
- Represent Super Soccer Stars in each class and interact daily with parents, directors, club board members, and children.
- Deliver energetic coaching sessions in line with the Soccer Stars progressive curriculum.
- Report to the territory manager on coaching responsibilities and expectations.
- Engage and challenge all players, help them accomplish development goals and milestones, and inspire a love of soccer in a fun, team-based environment.
- Clearly communicate issues to the leadership team and apply a solution-oriented approach to challenges.
- Arrive on time for all training sessions and games, allowing sufficient commuting time.
- Provide hands-on individual and group attention to players during training sessions and game-day coaching.
- Experience working in a travel club environment or a strong desire to do so.
- Prior experience working with children.
- Prior experience coaching travel soccer.
- Availability to coach game days on weekends.
