- Doctor of Medicine degree and registration with the medical council.
- At least 5 years of professional experience.
- Experience in a geriatric setting is preferred.
- Managerial qualities and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Provide appropriate and personalized care for each resident from admission through formal assessment, admission opinions, and definition of the care plan.
- Develop, implement, and oversee the facility's overall care project.
- Guarantee continuity and permanence of care in coordination with the nursing coordinator and all healthcare professionals.
- Coordinate medical and paramedical stakeholders to support a coherent and personalized care pathway for each resident.
- Contribute to the quality and safety of care and to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in the facility's risk management and prevention policy.
- Support teams in applying professional and geriatric best practices.
- Participate in training and developing the skills of the nursing staff in the nursing home.
- Manage the healthcare teams as a member of the Management Committee.
- Represent the facility with medical and institutional partners.
