Requirements
  • An associate degree is required.
  • One to three years of administrative, customer service, or higher education experience is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and digital workflow tools such as DocuSign is required.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational ability are required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently is required.
  • Knowledge of standard office procedures, filing systems, and recordkeeping practices is required.
  • Ability to interpret and follow written and oral instructions is required.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgment is required.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for inquiries by answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and monitoring the Registrar’s Office email account.
  • Provide timely, courteous, and accurate assistance to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and external agencies.
  • Maintain new, active, and inactive student files while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance in recordkeeping activities.
  • Assist with course registration, add/drop processing, degree and major changes, and demographic updates.
  • Process transcript requests, duplicate diploma orders, and enrollment verification letters.
  • Assist students with degree applications and support the Registrar in coordinating graduation-related processes.
  • Prepare routine statistical reports, verify data accuracy, and support institutional reporting needs.
  • Uphold FERPA regulations and ensure the secure handling of student information.
  • Provide scheduling, document preparation, meeting coordination, and other administrative support to the Registrar and Academic Affairs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of the Office of the Registrar’s mission and operations.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience working in a higher education setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of FERPA regulations and academic policy administration is preferred.
