- The high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Install and assemble mechanical equipment and piping products in a factory production shop environment.
- Work with pipefitters, installers, quality control, and support personnel to execute production processes safely and efficiently, meet quality standards and delivery dates, and stay within operational budgets.
- Installer-1 performs basic installer trade tasks under supervision.
- Installer-2 performs more complex installer work independently and trains and mentors Installer-1 employees.
- Installer-3 handles complex installation requirements and troubleshooting, plans upcoming projects, and collaborates with engineering and production teams to resolve complex installer-related challenges.
- Installer-3 leads, trains, mentors, and develops a cross-functional manufacturing team.
- Installer-3 supports lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of concepts, techniques, and procedures.
- Resolve issues and make recommendations using judgment and initiative.
- Work generally Monday through Friday, with hours determined by business needs and typically 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve complex installer-related challenges.
