- A diploma of college studies in nursing and a valid license to practice nursing.
- A minimum of three years of experience in critical care, emergency, and/or intensive care is required.
- For emergency care, the candidate must be able to perform triage and work in the resuscitation room.
- For intensive care, experience is required with emergency stretchers, triage, the resuscitation room, and the ambulatory room.
- Recent and relevant experience in the sectors listed above.
- Interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of patient care.
- Provide quality nursing care to patients in a hospital environment.
- Assess patients' medical and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Use the Epic system to document care and track patients' progress.
- Communicate effectively with families about patients' health status and needs.
- Participate in case management to ensure continuity of care.
- Train and supervise auxiliary staff, when applicable.
- At least one year of experience in a hospital or medical setting is strongly desired.
