  • 3+ years of sales experience in a full cycle closing role
  • BA/BS degree or relevant experience
  • Experience exceeding sales targets, selling a diverse ecosystem of products, and closing complex deals
  • Business development experience (e.g. hunting and cold calling)
  • Collaborative and team player mentality
  • Prior Salesforce experience or equivalent
  • Ability to learn from and speak to multiple different industry stakeholders
Responsibilities
  • Create outbound strategy and work with Business Development team
  • Source leads, cold call, and email to generate interest and close deals
  • Understand business and technology needs of merchants
  • Conduct prospecting, discovery, demos, and develop solutions
  • Execute sales motion using a consultative approach
  • Deliver predictable, repeatable, and scalable outbound sales process
  • Partner with Business Development Team to convert and close leads
  • Lead the charge introducing Square to merchants in all verticals
  • Oversee sales cycle from prospect to close
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals and KPIs
  • Partner with Product and Marketing teams
  • Utilize Salesforce to track, monitor, and report on sales activities
