Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Quick Release published engineering data excellence guidance in January 2026, signaling active thought leadership.
  • LinkedIn profiles show deployments on McLaren and Vertical Aerospace projects through 2026.
  • ALTEN's merger gives Quick Release access to larger sales channels and new sectors.

What critics are saying

  • McLaren, Forseven, and Vertical Aerospace concentration exposes revenue to a few program wins.
  • ALTEN integration since 2023 dilutes Quick Release's standalone identity and weakens employer brand.
  • If automotive OEMs internalize PDM tooling, Quick Release's consulting-heavy model loses pricing power quickly.

What makes Quick Release unique

  • ALTEN folded Quick Release GmbH into ALTEN GmbH in April 2023, preserving PDM expertise.
  • Quick Release built a specialist automotive PDM practice across McLaren, Ford, and Forseven programs.
  • Its UK centre of excellence now anchors ALTEN's broader PDM, PLM, and data automation work.
