Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Education support extends beyond degrees: OHLA USA's tuition reimbursement program includes continuing education toward certifications and licenses.
  • Lisle engineering interns have published pay: the Summer 2027 role lists $21-$24 hourly.
  • Site staff receive recurring safety instruction: regional plans feed weekly newsletters, toolbox talks, and intensive training classes.

What critics are saying

  • Florida interns cover their own lodging: the 2027 engineering and estimating program provides no housing.
  • Florida field placements involve physical exposure: internship terms cite frequent outdoor weather and usually loud construction environments.
  • Building contracts lock in pricing: OHLA USA's at-risk construction management work uses a fixed, negotiated price.

What makes OHLA USA unique

  • Specialist signals work stays within the group: OHLA Systems & Electric is a Judlau affiliate for transit installations.
  • Regional brands retain distinct roles: Community Asphalt represents Southeast Civil, while Judlau covers Northeast and Central heavy construction.
  • Northeast field engineering interns rotate within projects: placements span engineering, safety, superintendent, and quality assignments.
