What believers are saying

  • NASA awarded DigitalFish’s STTR Phase I in February 2025, validating USDI-XRED.
  • 2026 site updates show active product development and new client growth.
  • Hiring remains active with one open research-scientist role and stable ATS activity.

What critics are saying

  • DigitalFish has only 11-50 employees and under $5M funding, limiting scale.
  • OnSight still seeks pilot customers in 2026, leaving product-market fit unproven.
  • A failed NASA STTR transition would leave DigitalFish dependent on low-margin services.

What makes DigitalFish unique

  • DigitalFish combines OpenUSD, XR, and digital-twin work for NASA and enterprise clients.
  • It participates in AOUSD and IEDT-IG, shaping standards instead of only shipping services.
  • Its portfolio spans AI/ML research, immersive design, and staffing under one roof.
