What believers are saying

  • Open roles in public works and surveying show active demand across Northern California.
  • 2026 careers pages highlight transportation, water, wastewater, and heavy-civil work pipelines.
  • Recent featured projects in Placerville and Feather River support credibility with public agencies.

What critics are saying

  • Hiring across Folsom and Pleasanton signals capacity strain and backlog pressure in 2026.
  • Heavy dependence on California public works exposes R.E.Y. to municipal budget delays and bid competition.
  • A loss of key principals like Jim Fisher or Brian Thionnet would cripple delivery quickly.

What makes R.E.Y. Engineers unique

  • Principal-led delivery gives clients one accountable contact across public infrastructure projects.
  • Small Business Enterprise status and Union Local 3 signatory help win California agency work.
