Requirements
  • Active Texas General Lines Property & Casualty license or Personal Lines Property & Casualty license.
  • Previous insurance sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success in a sales environment with measurable goals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong prospecting, follow-up, and closing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and maintain an organized pipeline.

Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to agency-provided leads, inbound calls, and web inquiries.
  • Prospect through outbound calls, texts, emails, and follow-up.
  • Re-engage aged and unsold quotes to uncover additional opportunities.
  • Generate business through referrals, networking, community involvement, and local relationships.
  • Build relationships with realtors, mortgage lenders, auto dealers, business owners, and other referral partners.
  • Represent the agency at networking events, chamber functions, and community events.
  • Maintain a disciplined sales pipeline and consistent follow-up cadence.
  • Own opportunities from the initial conversation through the close.
  • Conduct needs-based conversations to understand customers' household, assets, exposures, drivers, property details, and coverage needs.
  • Identify opportunities across Personal Lines insurance products.
  • Quote available Farmers products and platforms to find appropriate coverage and value.
  • Present coverage options based on protection and customer needs.
  • Recommend appropriate liability limits, deductibles, umbrella coverage, and endorsements.
  • Explain coverage recommendations and available options to customers.
  • Convert quotes into bound business and long-term client relationships.
  • Bind coverage accurately and efficiently.
  • Collect required documentation, signatures, and down payments.
  • Assist customers with billing and onboarding.
  • Conduct welcome and onboarding calls with new clients.
  • Explain coverage and billing expectations.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and a clean handoff to the service team.
  • Identify opportunities to turn single-policy customers into multi-policy households.
  • Cross-sell home, auto, umbrella, and life insurance products.
  • Partner with the Life Insurance Specialist and Commercial Producer when additional opportunities are identified.
  • Ask for referrals at key customer touchpoints.
  • Support retention by proactively engaging clients when opportunities or risks are identified.
  • Maintain complete, timely, and accurate records in the agency management system.
  • Document quotes, contacts, recommendations, and transactions appropriately.
  • Follow Farmers underwriting guidelines, binding authority limits, and agency procedures.
  • Maintain the insurance license and continuing education requirements in good standing.
  • Follow Texas Department of Insurance requirements and applicable agency procedures.
  • Follow errors-and-omissions best practices in customer communication and documentation.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least one year of Personal Lines insurance sales experience.
  • Experience selling within a Farmers agency.
  • Experience with AgencyZoom, Salesforce, RingCentral, or similar systems.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish.
  • Existing referral relationships or a strong network in the Dallas–Fort Worth market.
  • Experience building a personal book of business.
  • Experience with home, auto, umbrella, or other Personal Lines products.

The platform operates a network of approximately 1.9 million active candidates across 68 countries. The acquisition strengthens Vensure's technology portfolio with advanced recruiting automation designed to reduce time-to-hire and improve candidate quality. Distro will be integrated into Vensure's ecosystem of HR solutions.
