Requirements
  • 8-10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS Product Management (ideally working on storage/indexing/events technologies for a developer-focused product)
  • Deep understanding (and interest) in software development, systems engineering and emerging technologies
  • Experience working with and managing SLOs, onboarding, general experience, requests across different product areas and groups
  • Hands on experience using multiple services from one or more large scale storage solutions e.g. S3, MongoDB, SnowFlake
  • Sharp communication skills and the willingness to present ideas to technical stakeholders and executives alike
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end product management process for the Event Platform within Datadog.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with other Datadog product teams and identify opportunities to help build use cases to deliver customer value
  • Define features for customers and developers with acute focus on scale, reliability and cost
  • Define data models to support insights and deliver customer value
  • Drive storage, query and processing capabilities needed by product teams to solve customer problems
  • Enable real-time and analytics use cases for the platform
  • Enable governance and compliance for data stored and served by the platform
  • Initiative and drive cost reduction activities to support strong margins
  • Deliver technical marketing literature to generate awareness and drive adoption of platform features.
