4+ Years of experience with ETL Testing
Create strategies and test cases for applications that use ETL components
Experience analyzing ETL mapping documents
Proficient in writing advanced SQL queries
Understanding the flow of data between the systems and their Data model
Work closely with the automation team to automate features for better regression coverage
Experience with Cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS
Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good verbal and written communication and proven experience of working and delivering in an Agile environment
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
Familiar with object-oriented programming and scripting languages like Java, Python

Responsibilities

Identify the project scope, expected outcome, data model, and relevant business rules
Check the data source locations and formats, perform a data count, and verify that the columns and data types meet the requirements
Test the accuracy of the data, and its completeness
Identify key ETL mapping scenarios and create SQL queries that simulate them
Automate ETL test cases where possible

Desired Qualifications

Experience with Atlassian products such as JIRA and Confluence is an advantage
Pharma life sciences industry experience is an asset
Experience with automation using Java
Experience with Spark
Experience working with data scientists

The Role

Veeva is looking for an experienced ETL QA Tester testing background to join our Veeva Compass team to effectively & efficiently test a system that provides our customers with access to billions of records a day with insightful analysis along with aggregations and transformations.

What You’ll Do

Identify the project scope, expected outcome, data model, and relevant business rules
