Indorama Ventures publishes first standalone advocacy report assured by Bureau Veritas

Indorama Ventures, a global sustainable chemical company, has published the 2025 edition of its Advocacy Transparency Report. Bureau Veritas independently assured the standalone report, which the company calls a first of its kind. The report covers the company's public policy engagement on waste management, recycling, recycled content, and circular economy accountability. It details direct talks with policymakers and regulators, industry association roles, and governance processes. In 2025, Indorama engaged on UN negotiations toward a global plastic pollution treaty, and on policy in Europe, the United States, Latin America, and Thailand. Colm Jordan, global head of advocacy, said approaches to advocacy transparency remain fragmented, and called for more consistent expectations across industries and regions.

Indorama Ventures and REBHAN launch glass-like PET packaging for premium beauty brands.

Indorama Ventures and REBHAN launch glass-like PET packaging for premium beauty brands. 08 Sep 2026 Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited, a global sustainable chemical company, and REBHAN FPS Kunststoff-Verpackungen GmbH, one of Europe's leading manufacturers of cosmetic packaging, have collaborated to bring a new generation of PET packaging to the beauty and personal care market, combining luxury aesthetics with enhanced recyclability and more sustainable options. Bringing together Indorama Ventures' expertise in specialty PET materials and REBHAN's packaging design and manufacturing capabilities, the collaboration has introduced LUXYCLEAR EBM PET 5508 to premium cosmetic packaging. Designed for extrusion blow molding, the specialty PET grade enables thick-wall cosmetic bottles with exceptional clarity and transparency, delivering the elegant, glass-like appearance while offering PET's lightweight, durable and shatter-resistant benefits. The solution is ideal for premium beauty and personal care products where both aesthetics and performance are essential. In addition to the conventional virgin PET grade, LUXYCLEAR EBM PET 5508 is also available in versions with up to 100% chemically recycled content or mass balanced certified renewable feedstock. These options allow brands to reduce reliance on virgin fossil resources while maintaining the same premium clarity, performance, and product quality. The product is now commercially available to beauty and personal care brands across Europe, the Americas and Asia. "Beauty brands should not have to choose between premium design, packaging performance and greater material choice," said Dr. Patrick Amrhein, Business Director of Specialty Polymers at Indorama Ventures. "By combining LUXYCLEAR EBM PET 5508 with REBHAN's design and manufacturing expertise, we are giving brands a commercially practical route to create distinctive, glass-like PET packaging using conventional, chemically recycled or renewable-feedstock options." "In the beauty and personal care sectors, brands are increasingly turning to our glass-like bottles because they combine the elegant look of glass with the functional advantages of PET. Our solutions offer luxurious transparency, brilliant clarity and modern designs that immediately grab attention at the point of sale, while also being cost-effective, lightweight and perfectly suited for everyday use," said Patrick Kohns, Head of Sales & Product Management at REBHAN. By combining REBHAN's expertise in premium cosmetic packaging with Indorama Ventures' specialty PET materials and technical support, beauty and personal care brands can transform their design and sustainability ambitions into distinctive, market-ready packaging solutions. New glass-like PET packaging gives beauty and personal care brands greater design freedom, recycling compatibility and a choice of sustainable feedstock options.
