Two to four years of heavy equipment or other related technical experience.
Basic welding and fabrication experience.
Knowledge of automotive air conditioning and the ability to troubleshoot and repair it.
Must adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Administration safety protocol and work in a drug-free environment.
Must be reliable and have reliable transportation.
Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver's license prior to employment.
Responsibilities
Care for and maintain company machines and equipment, and ensure coworkers do the same.
Diagnose and perform designated repairs on company-owned equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
Maintain the necessary set of tools to diagnose, disassemble, and assemble components to the manufacturer's specifications.
Follow all company policies and Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
Follow the manager's directions regarding daily tasks and expectations for each project or jobsite.
Travel to other projects as required.
Lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods, and perform physical labor under adverse field conditions.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This is field based role. Employee will be working on heavy civil and highway construction sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.

The position lifts heavy objects, walks and stands for long periods of time and performs physical labor under adverse field conditions.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. This position will occasionally require long hours and weekend work.
