Netsmart Showcases the Evolution of AI and the Value of an Intelligent Platform at CONNECTIONS2026 TMCnet News [September 15, 2026] | / | Netsmart Showcases the Evolution of AI and the Value of an Intelligent Platform at CONNECTIONS2026 Netsmart, an industry-leading healthcare technology provider for community-based care organizations, unites with clients and partners for the 19th annual CONNECTIONS2026 (CONN26) conference in Denver, Colorado. The annual conference recognizes client achievements, advancing innovation and the impact of the Netsmart CareFabric(R) platform, which has helped transform whole-person care delivery and impacted the lives of more than 176 million[1] lives nationwide. In the opening keynote, Netsmart CEO Mike Valentine highlighted how decades of digitization have created the infrastructure and data foundation needed to make augmented intelligence (AI) effective today. The Netsmart Meaningful AI strategy centers on augmented intelligence rather than artificial intelligence to amplify human expertise while keeping healthcare professionals in control of decisions. The keynote traced the expansion of CareFabric solutions and services beyond the electronic health record (EHR), demonstrating how embedded AI supports clinical, financial and operational workflows. "The investments we have made alongside our clients over the past decade have built the foundation for this moment," said Netsmart CEO Mike Valentine. "As we bring AI, data and workflows together across the CareFabric, we can help organizations put that foundation to work in new ways, simplifying daily tasks and creating capacity for work their teams have wanted to take on. CONNECTIONS is an opportunity to celebrate that progress and show how the platform will continue to evolve with the communities we collectively serve." A highlight of the keynote was the evolution of the AI and automation portfolio across the Netsmart CareFabric platform. For clinicians, Bells(R) has moved well beyond note recommendation assistance. It now delivers a broader suite of capabilities spanning group documentation, ambient listening, quality coaching, and predictive analytics. Together, these capabilities reduce administrative burden and return valuable time to clinicians so they can focus on the people they serve. Bells Quality Coach enables organizations to review up to 100% of clinical notes, replacing limited random sampling with scalable, consistent oversight. This allows organizations to identify trends earlier, strengthen documentation quality and drive improvement across clinicians and programs. Across the revenue cycle, Benny has progressed from retrieving claim information to providing intelligent denial guidance and supporting coding decisions. AutoStatus functionality within AlphaCollector(TM) streamlines claim-status workflows, while the enhanced Benny Collections Assistant provides denial-resolution guidance including support for eligibility checks, corrections and resubmission. Through AlphaCoding, Benny the Coding Assistant surfaces relevant clinical documentation, suggests diagnosis codes and presents supporting evidence for coder review. Otto, the AI-powered virtual support assistant has expanded from simplifying support case management to empowering clients to find answers and take action through conversational assistance. Its capabilities include AI-powered search and support case updates, giving clients additional ways to address questions within their workflows. During the keynote, Netsmart leaders highlighted several key achievements and efficiency gains including: * A 67% reduction[2] in time from session to note completion utilizing Bells Documentation Assistant * A 77% improvement in hospice visits in the last days of life (HVLDL) performance[3] using Bells Predictive Analyst * Approximately three minutes saved per chart using Benny Coding Assistant within AlphaCoding[4] * More than five minutes saved[5] per denial resolution workflow using the enhanced Benny Collections Assistant * A 75% reduction in clicks[6] needed to manage support cases using Otto. * Nearly 95% of support conversations[7] resolved without opening a support case using conversational Otto Attendees also received a preview of the next two AI agents that will work across the CareFabric platform, beginning with focused capabilities such as asking questions of analytics data and rethinking the intake process to leverage AI and interoperability to streamline access to care. The roadmap explores how intelligence embedded throughout the platform could help teams coordinate work before, during and after care. Beyond the keynote, attendees can explore the latest new features and innovations in the Solutionarium and participate in the AI Data Lab, hosted in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS). In the Interoperability Lab, Netsmart leaders will help attendees evaluate how the Netsmart Qualified Health Information Network (QHIN(TM) can support referrals, care coordination and support access to a more complete view of an individual's care as the network continues to grow. Throughout the three-and-a-half-day event, 78 client experts and Netsmart speakers will share experiences and best practices for advancing community-based care across more than 125 education sessions. CONN26 attendees are encouraged to visit the Solutionarium to explore more than 50 different Netsmart solutions and Marketplace partner demos to identify opportunities aligned with their clinical, operational and financial priorities. MIND 24-7 invests in Behavioral Health technology to expand access. Distributed by EIN Presswire New technology infrastructure will support MIND 24-7 clinicians and team members while strengthening connections across the communities and partners they serve SCOTTSDALE, AZ, UNITED STATES, September 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ - MIND 24-7, an Arizona-based provider of 24/7 walk-in behavioral health care for children and adults, is investing in a new integrated technology infrastructure to better support the people at the center of its care model, from patients and families to clinicians, team members, and the community partners who help connect people to care. MIND 24-7 has selected Netsmart and its CareFabric(R) platform to advance the technology infrastructure that supports its 24/7 behavioral health care model. The investment will expand integrated capabilities across clinical and operational functions, giving clinicians and team members greater access to the tools and information that support high-quality care while building additional capacity to serve patients, partners, and communities as MIND 24-7 continues to grow. "Everything we do at MIND 24-7 is centered on the people we serve," said Jim Wescott, MS, RN, Chief Executive Officer of MIND 24-7. "People come to us during some of the most difficult moments in their lives, and we want every part of their experience to reflect the care and compassion they deserve. As we grow, we're investing in technology that helps our teams continue to deliver on that commitment." Supporting the People Who Deliver Care MIND 24-7 provides walk-in behavioral health services for children, adolescents and adults, with locations open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Supporting care around the clock requires clinicians and team members to have timely access to information and technology that keep pace with patients' needs. As part of the transition, MIND 24-7 will implement the Netsmart myAvatar(R) electronic health record for behavioral health and addiction services. The organization will also integrate medication management, consumer engagement, telehealth, interoperability, revenue cycle management, and quality and compliance capabilities from the broader CareFabric platform. For clinicians and team members, a more connected technology environment is intended to reduce unnecessary complexity, streamline processes, and improve access to the information needed to support clinical decision-making and patient care. MIND 24-7 will also implement Bells(TM) Quality Coach, which uses artificial intelligence to support documentation compliance and quality reviews. The technology aims to help clinical and compliance teams conduct more efficient audits and timely reviews while supporting consistency in clinical documentation. Strengthening Connections Across the Behavioral Health Community MIND 24-7 operates within the community network, providing an immediate point of access to behavioral health care for hospitals and health systems, schools, first responders, health plans, providers, and community organizations. Strengthening the technology behind that model can support more connected workflows and information exchange across care teams and the organizations that work alongside them. Through the Netsmart interoperability capabilities, MIND 24-7 will support more seamless data exchange across care teams. Consumer engagement technology will also help enable patients to securely access their health information and initiate telehealth visits directly through a patient portal. The goal is a more connected experience for the people delivering care, the organizations that help individuals find care, and, most importantly, the patients and families who need it. "We believe MIND 24-7 is a key player in the movement to expand and expedite access to urgent mental healthcare," said Kevin Mallot, SVP and Managing Director, Human Services, Netsmart. "Its innovative approach is helping transform how individuals and families receive mental health and crisis services in the communities it serves. We are honored to collaborate with MIND 24-7 and provide an intelligent technology platform with AI capabilities that can support its continued growth and extend its life-changing impact into new communities." Building the Infrastructure to Reach More People As MIND 24-7 continues to grow, the organization is investing in technology that can scale alongside its services and reach. The integrated behavioral health platform will strengthen coordination across the organization and help MIND 24-7 deliver its model of high-quality, immediate-access behavioral health care to more people and communities. "Our growth has always been driven by the need for greater access to behavioral health care," Wescott said. "As we expand, we're making deliberate investments that support our clinicians and team members, our partners and the patients and families who depend on us. We want to grow in a way that preserves the quality, compassion and responsiveness that define MIND 24-7." The investment reflects MIND 24-7's broader growth strategy, pairing expansion with the clinical and operational capabilities needed to sustain its care model at scale. As the organization enters new markets and expands its services, this foundation will help extend immediate access to behavioral health care while preserving the experience and standards that have defined MIND 24-7.
