About the job
- A bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Law, Engineering, Social Sciences, Physical/Applied Sciences, or a management discipline such as Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Management Information Technology.
- Five years of experience supporting Department of War projects.
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, statistical analysis, financial analysis, and business process improvement.
- Experience with the Federal Budget Process, Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE), and Navy Program Objective Memorandum (POM).
- An active Department of War Secret clearance is required upon hiring.
- Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Perform data analysis, statistical evaluation, and financial analysis in support of Navy business operations and workforce planning.
- Develop analytical products such as dashboards, reports, and briefings to support strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate and recommend business process improvements to drive operational efficiency and mission alignment.
- Conduct research and provide subject-matter insights in support of Federal Budget Process, PPBE, and Navy POM-related tasks as required at the task order level.
- Analyze workforce, operational, and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with government leads, program managers, and internal teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with mission objectives.
- Present findings clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.
