Requirements
  • Applicants must be outgoing, dependable, able to provide quality customer service, and able to solve problems quickly and courteously.
  • Applicants must be comfortable working in a team setting.
  • Applicants must be able to stay calm and collected during events.
Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain all audiovisual equipment for live events within the event management venues, including sound reinforcement, event lighting, stage managing, projection, and video switching.
  • Provide technical services to ensure that events run smoothly.
  • Provide professional customer service to clients and attendees.
  • Initiate contact with event groups upon their arrival before events.
  • Coordinate event schedules with clients and share schedules with the rest of the staff.
  • Diagnose technical problems and take the steps necessary to resolve them.
  • Abide by and enforce all fire and safety rules and regulations in the event venues.
  • Maintain an orderly work area and ensure that audiovisual storage areas are organized.
  • Notify full-time staff when inventory is low or equipment is not working properly.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of audiovisual equipment is preferred.
