Requirements
  • Completion of a secondary education.

Responsibilities
  • Answer all telephone calls and greet all tenants and visitors.
  • Direct delivery personnel to corresponding apartments for deliveries when needed.
  • Perform clerical duties including copying, filing, faxing, emailing, and scanning documents.
  • File completed work orders once received.
  • Receive monthly rents and check them against the monthly rent roll for accuracy.
  • Schedule recertification appointments as directed by the Administrator or Chief Operating Specialist.
  • Maintain individual tenant files with information pertaining to Housing and Urban Development, HOME, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit programs.
  • Assist tenants with complaints and completing complaint forms.
  • Maintain an up-to-date tenant phone list alphabetically and numerically.
  • Respond to emergency alarms during office hours with the assistance of maintenance staff.
  • Assist the Chief Operating Specialist or Administrator in collecting and receiving third-party verification forms for certifications and place them in corresponding tenant files.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Operating Specialist or Administrator.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Housing and Urban Development, HOME, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit programs is a plus but not required.
  • Willingness to continue learning the certification process for the Housing and Urban Development, HOME, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit programs.
