- The candidate must have developing knowledge of topographic and cross-section surveys supporting planning, design, materials, and cost projections for the project site.
- The candidate must have strong communication skills demonstrated with engineering teams and management on project sites.
- The candidate must have technical skill with survey instruments.
- Provide work control lines and elevations required for accurate measurement and correct installation of materials by field staff.
- Assist in evaluating potential dimensions and other field problems.
- Perform layout work competently and accurately as specified by the survey manager.
- Check as-built conditions using surveying techniques.
- Provide topographic and cross-section surveys as required for planning and payment quantities.
- Assist with conducting quantity calculations as required.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
