About the job
- At least 8 years of experience in IT leadership, IT advisory, or cybersecurity.
- Prior mergers and acquisitions or carve-out experience.
- Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Epicor, or similar manufacturing systems.
- Ability to translate technical risk into cost, timeline, and deal-term recommendations.
- Inventory infrastructure, applications, enterprise resource planning systems, manufacturing execution systems, and cloud environments.
- Audit software licenses for compliance, transferability, and hidden costs.
- Assess cybersecurity controls, incident history, and data security protocols.
- Review operational technology and industrial control system security in manufacturing and smart-factory environments.
- Check regulatory frameworks and requirements such as Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification, National Institute of Standards and Technology 800-171, System and Organization Controls 2, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, and FDA data integrity rules.
- Estimate technical debt, separation or carve-out costs, and required capital expenditures.
- Plan Day 1 information technology readiness, transition service agreements, and Industry 4.0 or digital transformation opportunities.
- Lead systems integration and cybersecurity remediation after close.
- Serve as an interim chief information officer or digital lead, running integration and the smart-factory roadmap.
- Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Security Manager, or Certified Information Systems Auditor.
