Carhartt Work in Progress

View

Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP) adapts and modifies the core Carhartt workwear into its own fashion collections. Its offerings are built by reworking classic workwear pieces and applying them to streetwear and culture-focused contexts, often featuring the brand's yellow C motif across apparel and imagery. The product line works by taking durable, functional garments and repurposing them with new fits, silhouettes, and collaborations that align with music, skate, art, and urban scenes. Carhartt WIP differentiates itself from competitors through its deep ties to diverse cultural scenes and collaborations, plus a global network of over 100 retail stores and selective wholesale partners, while preserving a distinct identity separate from Carhartt Workwear. The brand’s goal is to represent and sustain the culture that has formed around its workwear roots by blending functional apparel with art, music, and street culture, expanding its reach through retail and partnerships.

Carhartt WIP, Nike Sportswear, and SUPPLY turn SURPLUS into A cultural uniform.

Carhartt WIP, Nike Sportswear, and SUPPLY turn SURPLUS into A cultural uniform. Some collaborations are built to be seen online. Others are built to survive the day they are meant for. Carhartt WIP, Nike Sportswear, and Toronto retailer SUPPLY have reunited for SURPLUS 2026, a festival-exclusive collection that treats workwear, sportswear, and local culture as parts of the same uniform. The collection, reported by Hypebeast, is led by a souvenir Dearborn Canvas Santa Fe Jacket, alongside French terry essentials. It is a practical-looking lineup, but the point is not simply that three recognizable names have placed logos on clothing. The stronger idea is that the collaboration understands where the product will live: in a festival environment where fashion, music, retail, and community overlap. Workwear gives the collaboration its backbone. Carhartt WIP brings the visual and material language that makes the collection feel grounded. The Dearborn Canvas Santa Fe Jacket gives the capsule a clear hero piece, with the kind of durable silhouette that can carry a collaboration without becoming a disposable event souvenir. That choice matters because festival capsules often chase immediacy. This one starts with an item designed to feel useful beyond the event itself. The result is closer to a cultural uniform than a conventional merch drop. Nike makes the crossover feel familiar. Nike Sportswear adds a different kind of recognition. Its role helps the capsule move between workwear, streetwear, and everyday sportswear without requiring the audience to choose one lane. French terry essentials extend that logic. They are not the loudest products in the lineup, but they make the collaboration easier to wear, and therefore easier to carry into the broader culture around the festival. The collection is designed around participation, not just display. SUPPLY keeps the story local. SUPPLY is what keeps the project from reading like a generic global-brand alliance. As the retail and cultural partner, it gives SURPLUS a specific place and audience. The collection feels connected to a scene rather than dropped onto one. That is increasingly important for brand collaborations. The names involved can create attention, but the local partner has to provide context and credibility. SUPPLY helps turn the collection into an expression of a community, not merely a product exercise. The collaboration is selling belonging, not just clothing. SURPLUS 2026 works because each partner contributes a different code. Carhartt WIP supplies durability, Nike supplies broad cultural fluency, and SUPPLY supplies local relevance. The value comes from the combination. For brands, the lesson is straightforward. A cultural collaboration becomes more convincing when the product is made for the setting, the partners have distinct jobs, and the audience can understand why these names belong together. In this case, the festival is not just a launch venue. It is the reason the collection makes sense. That is the difference between a collaboration that borrows culture and one that participates in it.

Patta and Carhartt WIP have reunited for Fall 2026 to deliver an eight-piece capsule titled "Hartt and Soul" The collection reinterprets signature utilitarian pieces such as the OG Active Jacket and Double Knee Pant with collegiate graphics and custom rivets Early access opens October 19 on the Carhartt WIP App followed by a global rollout on October 23 Carhartt WIP and Amsterdam-based streetwear imprint Patta have reunited to launch the collaborative Fall 2026 "Hartt and Soul" capsule collection. Channeling the spirit of their 2014 collaboration, the eight-piece project brings collegiate appliqués and exaggerated rivet detailing to heritage workwear silhouettes. Anchoring the lineup are reimagined staples including the OG Active Jacket and Double Knee Pant, each treated with bold collegiate-inspired lettering and tactile hardware. The utilitarian offering is complemented by a classic work Vest and a cotton hooded sweatshirt, both sporting an oversized collaborative logo lockup across the back. The collection introduces a striking safety orange half-zip knit sweater emblazoned with an elemental work-inspired graphic. Essential layers include graphic T-shirts detailed with a tonal "Hartt and Soul" screenprint on the reverse and a woven co-branded Square Label. The same custom label appears alongside silver-tone rivets on Carhartt WIP's iconic Watch Hat, while a matching hip bag rounds out the utilitarian accessories. The accompanying campaign was captured by Accra-based photographer Nana Yaw Oduro, who framed the collection across open plains and sunlit coastal backdrops exploring themes of identity and self-acceptance. The Patta x Carhartt WIP collection launches early on October 19, 2026, exclusively via the Carhartt WIP App, followed by a global release on October 23, 2026, at Carhartt WIP stores, online and select retailers.

Carhartt WIP and Nike Reunite at Australia's SURPLUS Festival.

Carhartt WIP and Nike Reunite at Australia's SURPLUS Festival. Published October 16, 2026 at 8:30 AM Quick facts. * The collection is broken down into two color combos: black gear with classic orange Nike Swooshes, and white and grey snow camo with more orange on the Swoosh * A leather varsity jacket goes triple black, and a white T-shirt reverses the camo color onto the Swoosh, but otherwise, the graphics are a pretty standard co-branded hit, with a clear focus on the double logo mix * The Carhartt WIP x Nike capsule will be released exclusively at SURPLUS Festival This content may contain affiliate links. After plenty of lines, fights, and sneaker of the year debates in Los Angeles, and endless collab previews coming out of Tokyo, the sneaker and streetwear scene is touching down in Australia for another installment of SUPPLY's SURPLUS Festival. A high-profile collab down under. Just like last year, the SURPLUS event is bringing out a heavy-hitting collab, with the event's title sponsor, Nike, teaming up with Carhartt WIP for an exclusive clothing capsule. In the same fashion as last year, the collection features T-shirts and hoodies featuring massive Nike Swoosh logos overtop small, subtle Carhartt WIP branding. Beyond the SURPLUS-specific collab, Carhartt's streetwear line and Nike are getting together to drop a pack of collab Air Max Goadome Low colorways, with pairs almost certainly popping up early at SURPLUS. As for the clothing, the collection is broken down into two color combos: black gear with classic orange Nike Swooshes, and white and grey snow camo with more orange on the Swoosh. A leather varsity jacket goes triple black, and a white T-shirt reverses the camo color onto the Swoosh, but otherwise, the graphics are a pretty standard co-branded hit, with a clear focus on the double logo mix. Carhartt WIP x Nike capsule release details. The Carhartt WIP x Nike capsule will be released exclusively at SURPLUS Festival, with no expectation for a wider release, unlike the Goadome Low collab. Carhartt WIP x Nike returns with an Air Max Goadome pack.

Carhartt WIP x Nike returns with an Air Max Goadome pack. "Light British Tan," "Black," and "Twilight Marsh" are set to drop for the 2026 holiday season. Carhartt Wip X Nike Name: Carhartt WIP x Nike Goadome Low Colorway: "Light British Tan," "Black" SKU: IW6306-200, IW6306-001 MSRP: $190 USD Release Date: Holiday 2026 Where to Buy: Nike Carhartt WIP and Nike are joining forces once again to release a collaborative take on the Air Max Goadome Low. Having first collaborated in 2018, the activewear label and the Detroit workwear brand's streetwear division recasts the hefty silhouette in three variants: "Light British Tan," "Black," and the yet-to-be-seen "Twilight Marsh." Debuted in 2000, the Nike Air Max Goadome's fusion of visible Air technology and all-weather durability has made it a perennial favorite. Carhartt WIP leans fully into the silhouette's utilitarian essence, applying its signature workwear aesthetic to the low-top variation amidst Nike's renewed focus on the silhouette. The holiday 2026 release significantly alters the upper with a more elaborate overlay design and multi-textile makeup. Notably, the shoes boast an extended mudguard and an open quarter window detailed with stitched lines akin to the Air Max Tailwind 4. Material executions vary by colorway, with the earth-toned "Light British Tan" visibly presenting a mix of suede, canvas, and leather details, while the black version opts for a classic all-leather look. Further workwear cues anchor the design, including rope laces with metal D-ring loops, a metal mini Swoosh, and a black Carhartt WIP flag tag appearing on the lateral side. The Carhartt WIP x Nike Air Max Goadome Low pack is slated to drop during the Holiday 2026 season via Nike SNKRS and select retailers.
