Requirements
  • Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
  • At least 2 years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit registered nurse experience if an NNP.
  • A Master's degree in nursing.
  • A current New York State Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification.
Responsibilities
  • Work as a Nurse Practitioner within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at New York-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital.
  • Work closely with neonatologists, cardiologists, nurses, and scientists.
  • Educate colleagues and Ivy League students.
  • Engage in the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Council to improve workflow, patient experience, employee satisfaction, timeliness, quality, and safety for patients and staff.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least one year of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse Practitioner experience in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
