Java Integration Developer - Backend Software Engineer
About the job
- 100% backend software engineering experience.
- Experience building and consuming application programming interfaces.
- Experience with Spring.
- Experience with Cassandra databases or Kafka.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Six years of experience building scalable ecommerce applications or mobile software.
- Develop innovation strategies, processes, and best practices.
- Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects.
- Support and ensure business objectives are met.
- Lead the discovery phase of medium to large projects and produce high-level designs.
- Lead the work of small groups of three to four engineers for assigned engineering projects.
- Lead and participate in end-to-end service implementations, data-feed ingestion, and orchestration.
- Design and implement low-latency services.
- Troubleshoot business and production issues.
- Use industry research to improve the company's technology environment.
- Experience with Apache Camel Enterprise Service Bus or other integration technologies.
- Eight or more years of experience in a development or architectural leadership role building web-based Java Enterprise Edition services or applications.
- Experience leading teams through the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, quality, and deployment.
- Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture, Apache Camel, Representational State Transfer, web services, Java Enterprise Edition technologies, Spring, Hibernate, and Oracle.
- Experience with NoSQL solutions and big-data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and Kafka.
- Experience building fast and responsive web applications.
- Two or more years of experience with Agile methodology.
