- Must be able to manually take patient vital signs.

- Must possess the ability to react calmly and effectively in a difficult or emergent situation.
- Must be willing to cross-train in front-office responsibilities to support full-cycle clinic operations.
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle to travel between clinics.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and balancing with full range of body motion, including handling and lifting up to 20 pounds.
- Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer and keyboard at 50 words per minute, calculator, telephone, copier, and fax.
- Requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle to travel between clinics.
- Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vital signs, past and present medical history, and current medication lists.
- Effectively communicate allergy testing and treatment protocols to patients.
- Administer subcutaneous, intradermal, and intramuscular injections.
- Conduct thorough and accurate spirometry testing to assess and evaluate lung function in patients.
- Perform all testing and treatment in accordance with Aspire Allergy protocols and safety measures.
- Navigate the electronic health record system to record accurate patient health information.
- Serve patients and visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
- Answer all incoming phone calls and provide accurate information.
- Track clinical inventory and resupply when needed.
- Ensure that all end-of-day reports and logs are accurate and complete.
- Follow all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act rules and regulations, including confidentiality of patient information.
- Adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements, including universal precautions and sharps disposal guidelines.
- Schedule patient appointments.
- Collect patient payments.
- Support treatment coordination, including enrolling patients in their treatment of choice.
- Obtain computed tomography authorizations.
- Completed Medical Assistant program or degree.
- One or more years of Medical Assistant experience.
- One or more years of Medical Receptionist experience.
- Medical Assistant certificate, vocational nurse license, or related experience.
- Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification.
