ProSidian Seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer - QA & QC headquartered near Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina to support an engagement for Nuclear Energy Sector Clients The Savannah River Site (SRS), a 310 square mile (198,046 acres) Department of Energy site, is located in the sand-hills region of South Carolina. It encompasses parts of Aiken, Barnwell and Allendale counties and is bordered on the west by the Savannah River and Georgia. SRS is close to several cities, including Augusta, Georgia and Columbia, South Carolina. It is also within a few hours of Atlanta, Savannah, Charleston, Greenville and Charlotte. 

This *** | Exempt position currently best aligns with the QA Engineer QA QC 103 Labor Category and ideal candidates exhibit the ability to visualize, analyze, and convert data and experiences to meet performance challenges while confidently engaging in productive “Jugaad” and dialogue targeting mission success.  ProSidian Team Members work to provide temporary staffing support services to support Savannah River Remediation (SRR), the Liquid Waste (LW) Contractor located at the Department of Energy Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC 29808.  Services anticipated includes storage, integration, treatment and disposition of the liquid radioactive waste being managed at the Savannah River Site (DOE).

Quality Assurance Engineer - QA & QC Candidates shall work to support requirements for 0 and provide QA Engineer QA QC 103 Support Services to the U.S. Department of Energy | Savannah River Site (SRS) in Aiken, SC 29808. This professional works as part of a Staff Augmentation Support Service Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) on behalf of The Savannah River Remediation (SRR), the Liquid Waste (LW) Contractor located at the Department of Energy Savannah River Site.Staff Augmentation Support Services align with multiple department requirements including, but not limited to, the following: Accounting | Integration Management | Business | Information Technology | Clerical | Procedures |Construction | Project Controls | Design Authority | Quality Assurance and Quality Control | Design Services | Radiological Controls | Engineering  | Safety and Health | Estimating | Supply Chain Management |Human Resources | Training | Industrial Hygiene | Program / Project Management | etc.

Qualifications

The Quality Assurance Engineer - QA & QC shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position.  Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. All employees, in the performance of their respective responsibilities, shall conduct themselves in the highest possible standards of ethical and business conduct.  The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.

Required Qualifications are commensurate with functional and technical requirements of the Quality Assurance Engineer position. Minimum Education are commensurate with functional and technical requirements of the Quality Assurance Engineer position. Base Experience/Skills are commensurate with functional and technical requirements of the Quality Assurance Engineer position. Standard Work Hours are commensurate with functional and technical requirements of the Quality Assurance Engineer position. Area Security Access/Security Clearance are commensurate with functional and technical requirements of the Quality Assurance Engineer position.

TRAVEL:  Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training requirements.  Travel is coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.  LOCATION:  Work shall be conducted at or in proximity to Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina

• U.S.  Citizenship Required - You must be a United States Citizen
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
• All ProSidian staff must be determined eligible for a “Facility Access Authorization” (also referred to as an “Employment Authorization”) by the USG’s designated Security Office.
