Requirements
  • Proven track record as a Senior Data Strategy Consultant or in a similar role.
  • Extensive experience managing data transformation projects.
  • Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement and delivering structured documentation (e.g., assessments, strategies, execution plans).
  • Expertise in conducting assessments of existing data ecosystems and creating actionable improvement plans.
  • Familiarity with best practices and challenges in legal technology or related fields.
  • Experience working with external clients under defined contracts and terms.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive data strategies.
  • Knowledge of data governance, infrastructure, analytics, compliance, and engineering best practices.
  • Strong understanding of data infrastructure and tools.
  • Ability to conduct gap analyses and identify system improvement areas.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Executive Leadership, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Product, and Engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant privacy laws, such as CCPA.
  • Skilled in structuring and formatting data for efficient searching and insight generation.
  • Experience developing long-term, scalable, and adaptable data frameworks.
  • Proficiency in creating phased execution plans.
  • Expertise in defining team structures, roles, and responsibilities for data implementation and management.
  • Strong understanding of aligning data strategies with business goals, including creating connected membership experiences and expanding B2B platforms.
Responsibilities
  • Assess the current state of data infrastructure, tools, and processes.
  • Identify key business objectives and corresponding data needs.
  • Conduct a gap analysis to pinpoint areas for improvement.
  • Define a strategic plan encompassing data governance, infrastructure, analytics, compliance, and data engineering practices.
  • Develop a framework for long-term scalability and adaptability.
  • Develop a high-level, phased execution plan to implement the data strategy, progressing from the current state to the target state.
  • Identify and document the optimal team size and structure for the Data Organization, including roles, levels, and job descriptions required for execution.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Estate Planning, Trusts, and Wills is a plus.
