Requirements

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or four-year university, or equivalent experience, is required.
At least five years of experience is required, including demonstrated knowledge of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns; a strong background in C#, HTML, JavaScript, XML, and JSON; creating and maintaining relational data models and databases; and troubleshooting advanced SQL performance issues and writing or tuning advanced SQL queries.
Knowledge of C# and proficiency in several programming languages, including Java, ASP.NET, JavaScript/jQuery, T-SQL, and HTML/CSS, is required.
Knowledge of relational data models is required.
Knowledge of Agile principles and experience with Scrum or Kanban are required.
Knowledge of team development tools and source control, such as Visual Studio, TFS, CVS, JIRA, or Git, is required.
Knowledge of one or more JavaScript frameworks, such as Angular, Angular 2, Vue.js, Knockout, React, or Polymer, is required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, is required.
The ability to communicate software and technical concepts clearly to the development team through diagrams is required.
The ability to participate in operational support and an on-call rotation is required.
The ability to keep current with testing methods and technologies to produce high-quality software is required.
The ability to create and maintain databases, including SQL Server or Oracle databases, is required.
The ability to assist with advanced SQL performance issues and write or tune advanced SQL queries is required.
The ability to recognize and use object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns is required.
The ability to use basic office equipment, including a copy machine, personal computer, and fax, is required.
The ability to sit for long periods while performing sedentary activities is required.
The ability to stand, stoop, and kneel to file for long periods is required.
The ability to push, pull, and lift up to 20 pounds of files, supplies, documents, or other related items is required.
Pre-employment drug testing is required.

Build systems that interface with SWBC clientele.

Build tools to eliminate repetitive tasks.
Participate in self-organizing teams working toward a common goal.
Respond to issues as they arise and partner with the Systems Assurance Group to improve monitoring.
Work with business partners to understand requirements and goals.
Prepare wireframes and mock-ups for proposed designs.
Conduct peer reviews to ensure development and security standards are enforced.
Guide and mentor junior and mid-level developers on the team.

SWBC is seeking a talented individual to develop and maintain our customer interfacing applications and core internal integrations. This role works within self-organized teams to ensure software is built to customer expectations as well as guides and mentors developers.

Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or four-year university or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience required, including demonstrated knowledge of OOP and SOLID principles and design patterns; strong background in C#, HTML, JavaScript, XML, and JSON; creating and maintaining relational data models and databases; and troubleshooting with advanced SQL performance issues and write/tune advanced SQL queries.
Knowledge of C# and efficient in several different programming languages, including Java, ASP .NET, JavaScript/JQuery, TSQL, HTML/CSS, etc.
Knowledge of relational data models.
Knowledge of Agile principles with experience in Scrum or Kanban.
Knowledge of team development tools and source control, i.e. Visual Studio, TFS, CVS, JIRA, GIT, etc.
Knowledge of one or more JavaScript frameworks, including Angular, Angular2, Vue.js, Knockout, React, polymer, etc.
Demonstrated willingness and ability to adapt and learn new technologies/processes.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
