Binance opens AI Pro strategy agent to all users with free tier after beta

Binance has opened its AI Pro strategy agent to all users, adding a free tier to a product that had been a paid beta since March 25. The tool turns a plain-language trading idea, including risk limits, market conditions, and coins, into an automated strategy shown as an editable visual workflow. It runs on the Binance website and app, and supports spot and USDS-M futures strategies. Regional restrictions apply, but Binance did not list them. Free and paid users can paper trade and run strategies live, with a cap of 10 strategies per user. The agent cannot transfer funds. Live strategies use only money in a separate AI Strategy Account, and users must approve each strategy and any change to its logic. Binance's code check confirms only that the logic runs without errors, not that a strategy will be profitable.

Binance launches on Huawei AppGallery, making it easier to access for South Africans.

Binance launches on Huawei AppGallery, making it easier to access for South Africans. Huawei smartphone users can now download the Binance app directly from Huawei AppGallery in South Africa, making it easier for more South Africans to access crypto assets. Published Oct 16, 2026, 16:48 Binance, the world's leading blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency exchange, has partnered with Huawei to make the Binance app available on Huawei AppGallery in South Africa. Huawei smartphone users can now download the Binance app directly from the Huawei AppGallery, giving local users another way to access the platform on their devices. For many South Africans, managing money now happens on a phone. From banking apps to digital payments, people increasingly expect financial tools to be simple to use and easy to access. For those who are new to crypto, access also needs to come with education. Binance Academy offers free learning resources on crypto and digital assets, with no account required. Binance is trusted by more than 300 million people in over 100 countries. Launching on Huawei AppGallery extends that reach to approximately 8.5 million Huawei users in South Africa who want more choice in how they save, send and manage their money. "Our goal is simple. We want to make Binance available to as many people as possible wherever they are and whatever device they use," says Larry Cooke, Director at Binance Africa. "Working with Huawei means more South Africans can take control of their finances through a platform they trust straight from the phone in their pocket. That is what freedom of money looks like." "Binance brings a comprehensive digital asset experience to AppGallery, giving our users access to a platform where they can explore, manage and learn about crypto in one place," says Peter Feng, General Manager, Huawei South Africa Consumer Business Group. "It is a strong addition to the growing range of financial services available to Huawei users." Access is only the first step. Binance believes people make better financial decisions when they understand the tools they use. With Binance Academy, users can take free, plain-language courses on how digital assets work, how to keep their accounts safe and how to spot scams. "Education sits at the heart of everything we do," Cooke adds. "Making the app easier to download matters but helping people understand how crypto works matters more. When people learn before they act, they gain the confidence to use digital assets on their own terms." As more South Africans turn to their phones to manage their money, the partnership with Huawei brings Binance closer to making finance accessible to everyone, everywhere. Huawei users in South Africa can download the Binance app from the Huawei AppGallery today at https://appgallery.huawei.com/app/C100391751. To start learning for free, visit Binance Academy.

Binance eyes Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, Brazil stocks in global push.

Binance eyes Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, Brazil stocks in global push. Key takeaways. * Binance is exploring stock access in four markets: Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, and Brazil. * The push extends Binance beyond crypto, fully into tokenized stocks, commodities, and pre-IPO futures. * Its next edge may come from combining global equities with AI-powered trading in one account. Binance moves beyond crypto as exchange model expands. Binance is looking well beyond bitcoin. The world's largest crypto exchange is considering adding stock exposure from Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, and Brazil, co-CEO Richard Teng said, as the company responds to users seeking broader access to traditional markets. "A lot of users tell us: 'I want access to the top stocks in Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Brazil...'" Teng wrote on X. "So we're listening, and exploring how to expand stock access across more global markets." The plan is still exploratory. But it fits a much larger shift underway across the crypto exchange industry. Binance is building an all-in-one trading platform. Binance has already expanded well beyond spot crypto trading. In 2026, the exchange introduced tokenized U.S. stocks, which recently surpassed $1 billion in assets under management (AUM) in roughly four months, making it the first tokenized equity product to hit that milestone. Teng described the diversification as a way of "weatherproofing" the business. That strategy matters as crypto prices remain well below their 2025 peaks, putting pressure on transaction-driven exchange revenues. Rivals are moving in the same direction. Coinbase has added stocks, perpetual futures and prediction markets as part of its "everything exchange" strategy, while OKX is developing tokenized U.S. equities through a venture with New York Stock Exchange owner, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). Tokenized stocks could open markets across borders. For Binance, the pitch is also about financial access. Teng argues tokenization and 'round-the-clock trading could give investors outside major financial centers easier access to international equities, particularly in emerging markets where brokerage access can remain limited. That opportunity is potentially significant. A 2025 World Bank report estimated that roughly 1.3 billion adults remain without formal bank accounts. Crypto platforms already serve many users for savings, payments, and cross-border transfers. Adding equities could make those platforms increasingly resemble global financial supermarkets. AI trading adds another layer. Binance has also added another layer to its expansion with the launch of Binance AI Pro, an AI-powered trading assistant designed to automate market analysis, strategy execution, and position management. Teng expects AI agents to play a larger role as investors become more comfortable delegating decisions within predefined limits. The direction is becoming clear. Crypto exchanges once competed mainly on coins and fees. Now Binance, Coinbase, and OKX are competing over who can offer the widest financial universe from a single account. If Binance ultimately adds major Asian and Latin American equities, then that race will move far beyond crypto. Binance's tokenized U.S. securities offering surpassed $1 billion in assets under management (AUM) in roughly four months, making it the...

Solana's Shanghai office sparks interest, says CZ.

Solana's Shanghai office sparks interest, says CZ. October 14th, 2026 Changpeng Zhao is surprised by Solana's new Shanghai office and advertising. This could reshape competition within the crypto industry. Quick take. Summary is AI generated, newsroom reviewed. * Changpeng Zhao expresses surprise at Solana's Chinese office expansion. * Solana's branding in Shanghai signals growing influence in Asia. * The move highlights competitive dynamics between Solana and BNB Chain. Sponsored: BiggerZ - BiggerZ: Crypto Casino, Sportsbook, Predictions & More Play Now In the early hours of October 15, Changpeng Zhao, founder of Binance, expressed surprise over Solana's ability to advertise and establish offices in China. His comments followed a showcase by Solana Foundation's Chief Strategy Officer Rachel Conlan, who revealed a new office in Shanghai. This development underscores the competitive landscape in the crypto industry and suggests potential shifts in market strategies. The story so far. Solana's recent establishment of a Shanghai office and its advertising presence in China could signify a pivotal moment for the blockchain platform. The move has drawn attention from industry leaders, particularly Binance's CZ, who highlighted the disparity between Solana's actions and the BNB Chain's slower progress in China. This situation reflects the broader trends within the crypto sector, where adaptability and regional strategies are crucial for success. Solana is known for its high-speed transactions and robust decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. Its expansion into China comes at a time when crypto regulations are evolving, making regional presence a significant factor for success. The ability to establish an office in a market as large as China provides Solana with a competitive edge over other platforms like BNB Chain, which has encountered delays in similar efforts. Key levels to watch. Traders and market participants are keenly observing Solana's activities in China, as its successful advertising and office establishment may lead to increased adoption and further innovations in its ecosystem. The competitive dynamics between Solana and Binance's BNB Chain could influence future market strategies, prompting both platforms to ramp up their efforts in expanding their reach in Asia.
