- Secret clearance is required.
- A minimum of three years of experience working as a system or application administrator in a Linux environment is required.
- A Bachelor's Degree in an information technology-related field, six years of experience in a related field, or a professional-level vendor certification is required.
- A baseline Information Assurance Technical Level II certification in accordance with Department of Defense 8570.01-M, such as Security+ or higher, is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Computing Environment certification within six months of the start date is required.
- Add, remove, and modify Certificate Authority access control for Registration Authorities, Local Registration Authorities, and Key Recovery Agents, and verify candidate documentation for inclusion.
- Issue subsystem credentials, Defense Manpower Data Center user portal credentials, and Defense Manpower Data Center Public Key Infrastructure content-signing certificates after validation by the Department of Defense Public Key Infrastructure Program Management Office.
- Support Public Key Infrastructure, Advanced Encryption Standard, and Remote Certificate Validation Service node rekeys and verifications in accordance with the Certificate Practice Statement.
- Issue individual user certificates and tokens only when directed by the Department of Defense Public Key Infrastructure Program Management Office.
- Conduct daily and functional checks of Department of Defense Public Key Infrastructure Certificate Authority pages and corresponding Second Layer Certificate Authority sites.
- Provide Government Service Desk Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for knowledge management, Frequently Asked Questions resolution, and trouble tickets.
- Provide room access for separation of duties and maintain two-person physical control.
- Maintain database passwords.
- Ensure operating environments are properly configured and functioning with specified network and storage components and government-provided tool suites.
- Assist with the daily operation and maintenance of the Coalition Enclave Networks managed by Defense Information Systems Agency locations, including ancillary equipment and software.
- Validate functionality after system or component modification.
- Use the government-provided ticket management system to document and resolve problems.
- Verify with the customer that service has been restored after resolving critical and major customer-initiated tickets or complaints.
